Thirty years of reforms have transformed China into the world.s second-largest economy. With 1.3B consumers, China will soon represent the largest market for most products and services. More recent efforts have focused on developing innovation, technology and services to further integrate China with the global economy. In parallel with the rapid growth of the private sector and entrepreneurship, China has become the world.s second-largest venture capital market.

Launched in 1994, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) is the largest cooperation project between China and Singapore governments. Located near Shanghai, SIP comprises several parks dedicated to various industries including life sciences, IT, nanotechnology, software, new energies, modern services and manufacturing. SIP hosts over 20,000 expats and 4,900 foreign-invested enterprises, including 80 Fortune 500 multinational companies. It is also one of the fastest growing National development zones.

The seminar will be presented by a Delegation from the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group. You will learn about the business environment, infrastructure, as well as professional opportunities available for scientists, engineers and managers in SIP. In addition, information about R&D centers, research laboratories, universities and incubator programs will be discussed.
